- CMC(= Computer-mediated communication):
It is defined as any form of human interaction across two or more networked computers. (i.e., instant messages, e-mails, chat rooms) it has also been applied to other forms of text-based interaction such as text messaging.
- LMS(= Learning Management System ):
It manages the delivery of self-paced, e-learning courses. The LMS lets you publish courses and place them in an online catalog. Learners log into the LMS using a browser, select courses from the catalog and launch them. The LMS tracks the learners’ activities with the courses. The LMS provides online reports for each course and learner. The LMS is inexpensive yet provides the essential features you need. Also,most LMSs are web-based to facilitate "anytime, any place, any pace" access to learning content and administration.
- CALL(=Computer-assisted language learning ):
It is defined as tCALL materials are used in teaching to facilitate the language learning process. Also,it is a student-centered learning material, which promotes self-paced learning. he search for and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning.
